Christian Schulz-Quach to speak at the 7th European Conference for Existential Therapy

Christian Schulz-Quach is an invited speaker at Existential Freedom, the 7th European Conference for Existential Therapy, in Bucharest on 28–29 May 2027.

The conference is organized by the Federation for Existential Therapy in Europe (FETE) together with the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Bucharest. Its theme is “The Quest for Freedom and Its Challenges in Life and Therapy.”

Over two days, psychotherapists, counsellors, philosophers, psychologists, psychiatrists, researchers and educators will meet for keynotes, clinical workshops and paper sessions. The keynote speakers include Emmy van Deurzen and Alfried Längle.

Christian’s clinical and scholarly work brings existential-phenomenological psychotherapy into dialogue with psycho-oncology, palliative care and health professions education.

Our collaborator Gideon Menda was a member of FETE’s founding team and served as its Chair from 2023 to 2025.

The call for abstracts is open, and registration opens soon. Details are on the conference website.
